Where we Work

LIDO operates across most states in South Sudan, reaching communities that are heavily affected by conflict, poverty, and recurring humanitarian crises. Our programs are active in the states of Central Equatoria, Jonglei, Unity, Northern Bahr el Ghazal, and Western Bahr el Ghazal, where we support both urban and rural populations, including internally displaced persons and host communities. Through close collaboration with local communities, government institutions, and development partners, LIDO delivers impactful programs across its key thematic areas—Food Security and Livelihoods, Health and Nutrition, WASH, Child Protection, Gender-Based Violence, Women and Youth Empowerment, and Emergency Response. By working in diverse regions of the country, LIDO ensures that vulnerable groups such as women, children, youth, persons with disabilities, and displaced populations are empowered to live healthier, safer, and more dignified lives.
